We can Heal
Walking down the crowded lane,
Again convulsed with a similar pain
With everyone around following the fad,
The things on our minds are mostly sad.
Battling our fears, we try not to die,
What option do we have than to lie?
“Oh, I am doing absolutely fine”
has become our front-runner line.
Of these pains, of these fears, of these lies we are tired
We yearn, to be the ones who are admired,
The needlessness of loneliness pricking our chest
Our exhausted souls need some rest.
We lay down on our bed,
With eyes mostly red,
Left with no words on the lips,
We dream too high of the happy trips.
Wrapped in the arms of the dark night
We need a hint of the positive blue light.
There is no need to show sympathy
Just make us believe that life is worthy
We do not know wrong or right
Just tell us that it is worth a fight
All we need is friendly shoulder to kneel
All we need is, professional help to heal
You know, we can heal,
We believe, we will heal.
