War
For the years of war,
For the ones we lost,
Ask about the people who died?
But never understood why?
For the Victories we gain
For all the lands we claim,
Answer this, Is it worth the pain,
Or is all just in vain?
For all the people we kill,
In the name of religion, we hail
For the women who are raped,
Tell me, aren’t we all ashamed?
For the times we are furious,
For answers we are curious,
For war we demand and ask,
But do we understand this deathly task?
