Peace - An Arena of Freedom
Peace. A 5 syllable word, that holds immense power allegedly, but has anyone ever considered what it actually is?
For an anarchist, chaos is peace, for a dictator, oppression is peace, for an idealist, freedom is peace, and for a hipster being high, is peace.
While peace being a subjective term, we can still reach at common grounds. If we target the central idea of the word, we find that it initially is a situation where an individual has the state of mind to grow and be what they want to be.
For an anarchist, it’s chaos, for dictator it’s oppression, because it makes the situation ideal for their growth as well as encourages their individuality.
But peace is a term we should think upon, with the point of view of the larger mass. Things which give the freedom to grow to every individual alike, and that’s peace.
Expressions of peace can be any gesture we do to make someone feel free to grow or to aspire.
And these gestures must be for the larger masses and not for one individual only.
It might be a state where we give rights equally, it can be a place where we let everyone express themselves in their own way.
Its hence the opposite of war, because war is an idea of individual but peace is an idea of collective good.
