Orphanage: A Home of Dreamers
“Homeless Children Do Dream
It’s just that no one can hear their screams”
Dreams do not have boundaries, neither do they have limitations. Dreamers can be found everywhere.Inspite of the fact that some dreamers do not have their own home but still there is always a room for their dreams. Like every layman dwelling on the planet earth, I too used to think that orphans cannot have a bright future unless and until they are adopted. According to people, their past, present and future was bleak, is bleak and would be bleak.
On the contrary, these young saplings are preparing day and night to mark their names in history. My own perspective towards these children changed when I got an opportunity to visit an orphange. After that visit, I was forced to think hard and challenged the orthodox thinking that people have developed for these homeless children overtime. Orphanages across India are filled with enormous talent and skills. Young buds in these orphanages possess so much talent in them that they can grow up to world greatest masterminds, writers, poets, singers, dancers, politicians, designers which can beautify the world. They do not have access to latest technology and gadgets or any other fancies of the world. Still they have incredible urge of learning new things, they themselves find out ways to match with rest of the world. Some orphanages too help their children to nourish their talents by providing various platforms or opportunities to showcase their talent. These mentioned as vulnerable strata surprisingly posses more intellect than those blessed with parents, because from the very early age they have learnt the art of survival. These children are not only smart enough to manage their own household chaos but also good enough in earning bread for themselves in early ages. The enthusiastic children are well known of communication, leardership and management skills without entering into top B-schools. These zestful ones are full of dreams.
They aspire to taste success in future and are constantly working to fulfill their dreams For them, the goal of their life is to achieve great heights and make their home proud, no matter where or with whom they live. These children are full of confidence, talent, skills but all they still need is a hand which can guide them towards a bright future. It’s not the case that they don’t have dreams but it’s actually people living in the real world like us who have lost hope in them. At the same time these children who have not seen a quarter worlds still wants to contribute in making this world a better place. Many orphans are already making great name in distinct fields serving as an inspiration for all. If these orphans who have never seen a home can dream of making world a better home, than why can’t we who have houses can dream of making the world a better place to live in for everyone?
