I woke up
I woke up to the sound of birds chirping. I couldn’t recall anything from the night before. There was a faint memory of me getting ready to go out with friends but nothing else after that. I checked my phone and there was no network. I searched the whole house and I couldn’t find my parents so I went outside, however the neighborhood seemed awkwardly quiet. I went back inside and was shocked. My living room was filled with what seemed like a thousand mirrors. To my horror none of the mirrors had my reflection. I touched one of the mirrors and entered a park. I used to play there when I was a kid. Suddenly I heard the sound of a girl crying. I turned around and couldn’t believe my eyes. It was me when I was 8 years old learning how to ride a bicycle. I tried to talk to the people there however no one could hear or see me. I was about to touch my younger version however suddenly a force pulled me outside from the mirror. I realized each mirror had a subconscious memory of mine. I got so scared that I tried to get outside my house but I couldn’t unlock the door. I was trapped in my house. I checked my phone again and saw a single bar of network coming. I tried calling my parents and friends however no one picked up. I searched my contact list and there was only one number which was saved in it. It was an unknown number. I tried calling on it however the voice that answered my phone call was again me.
I sounded old and tired. Suddenly the call was disconnected and my phone gallery opened. There I saw pictures of my younger and older version. I was traumatized. I realized I was time travelling and was in some parallel universe all together. I ran back to my room and cuddled in my blanket and in no time was fast asleep. I woke up to the sound of birds chirping and suddenly I jumped out of my bed. It was dusk. I checked the date and time. It was the same evening when I was getting ready to go out with my friends.
