Gender fluidity can be beautifully outlined as a colourful identity. It’s like an ocean in which the water moves back and forth in the same way gender fluid person’s identity also keeps on moving back and forth which means that the gender expression of such a person is not fixed, it keeps on shifting over time. In the light of my idea, gender fluidity is like a lucky draw game, a gamble in which you don’t know what exactly you are going to win, or what you are choosing in like you never know with what feeling you’ll wake up the next morning. It’s like being gender non-conforming, some days it feel like dressing up as a man, and some days it’s feels like waking up as a woman. Gender fluidity is a unique expression it is discernible from other gender identities , in the sense that it personify the idea of constant change.

Gender fluidity can be espied through fashion, the “NO GENDER” style is not the new trend, it has always existed but with it existed certain confusion. Fashion has always tried to follow the neutral gender policy where it tries to show that clothes has no gender and moved away from the

male-female distinction. It appears as if it is following the gender fluid movement. We have been socialized in a culture which lives and breathes by the construct of two gender , a male and a female. And it’s gets difficult for the society to accept a gender fluid person . Gender fluid people are constantly fluctuating between the two genders and even sometimes as gender less and struggles to identify themselves as any gender. This struggle often leads to gender dysphoria which involves feelings of distress. This distress can be reduced with a kind of acceptance in society. And with time it is apparent that topics of gender identity are seemingly getting momentous now than ever before. Gender fluidity as said above is a colourful identity , it is much more deep it’s like being someone what you want to be and living life of one’s own accord.
