Every Storm Runs out of Rain
There comes a saturation point when you cannot withstand your emotions. Even the thought of them overpowering you is infuriating.
There is a point where you become your knight in shining armour. Armour does nothing but conceal the inner havoc that keeps roaring inside you. You keep feeling something bizarre but the armour reminds you of the surreal strength that surrounds and you fall into that hallucination again.
But then there comes today, the day which makes you want to shred that armour down, vanish off that deceiving strength, and let that havoc deafen you. A day when you cognize that not all sunflowers are yellow, not all lavender are purple, not all lilies are white and not all hearts are red.
Is this what they call getting mature?
Is it the new year, new you?
For if it is, despite this phantasmagorical wonder, there’s an eerie feeling overpowering it because you know, you know when you’ll come out of this storm, you’ll be a new-fangled person altogether.
A person with a lamentable thunder that will make them bleed!
