Dark and Cold
Life is so simple yet seems to be complicated. There are moments when you feel as if you are on Cloud Nine, and then there are those moments where you feel that things couldn’t get any worse. Just like Yin Yang, happiness and sadness are complementary. There are bound to be days when you feel like the whole world has ganged up against you and nothing seems to work in your favour. We all feel worthless at times but we shouldn’t allow dark thoughts to creep over our mind in a way that they block all the light and hope. It is easier said than done, indeed but “This too shall pass” is true. It’s completely okay if you aren’t able to give your best everyday. After all you are a human being! Not a robot. What matters is that you need to get up and come back as a stronger person for yourself, for your loved ones. You may think that you are a mere particle among infinite galaxies, but the truth is that you are much more. You do matter. You are loved by many. You are needed. You are important. Stop crying over people and things. Life is too short to beg for someone’s time, love or attention. Let go and live without holding grudges against anyone. Gloomy days come around just to make us realise the value of happiness and cherish it. So when it gets dark and cold, remember there’s always a light at the end of the tunnel. That the good days aren’t far away, and that you’re a warrior. The sun will shine again and everything will be just fine. A brief period of unhappiness can’t dampen your bright spirit! So get up and face the world like the strong headed person you are!!
